The 307 fleur-de-lis chair  is a variation on the 305 tub chair with the addition of a slat. The 305 was the forerunner of the Ercol easy chair range. It is still in great demand because it combines comfort with first-class finish at low price. The deep foam seat cushion rests on a conventional adzed Windsor seat. The tub-shaped back and framing are beech with contrasting solid elm seat. Small in size but tubbily large in comfort, this Ercol tub chair has the characteristic Windsor back, with a fleur-de-lis motif.

Sanded from dark to light by an associate of ours then pale waxed. A few dark marks do remain. Please note the colour-tone of this piece is lighter than our usual finish and more in line with the Ercol modern light/ash finish.

FRAME ONLY, cushions available to order.

Dimensions: 68cm wide x 67cm deep x 81cm high.

This item has been in production since 1956.

Ercol Windsor (307) Fleur-De-Lis Tub Chair, Light Finish

  • At Thomas Norris we try not to 'over restore', our furniture has 'lived' and we like to show that. All our repairs are purposefully left visible although subtle in colour so buyers know what they are getting. We use traditional techniques and finishes to maintain as close to the Ercol finish as possible - these items are purposefully not restored to 'as new factory finish'. We leave undersides of flat surfaces in original finish and condition to allow buyers to see how they have lived.
