Light, graceful, charming, this dressing table has a full width drawer, which must be handled to be appreciated. Notice the refinements of the design – the triangular section of the legs, the positioning of the under framing, sculptured table edges. It’s a masterpiece in natural solid elm and beech with a craftsman-like natural colour waxed finish. This item was in production between 1956 and 1965 when they change the dimensions slightly
This item was in production from 1959 – 1962. The lips above and below the drawer suggest this is an earlier piece.

- At Thomas Norris we try not to 'over restore', our furniture has 'lived' and we like to show that. All our repairs are purposefully left visible although subtle in colour so buyers know what they are getting. We use traditional techniques and finishes to maintain as close to the Ercol finish as possible - these items are purposefully not restored to 'as new factory finish'. We leave undersides of flat surfaces in original finish and condition to allow buyers to see how they have lived.
