This unusual Ercol sideboard is crafted in solid elm with beech legs, to create a polished finish on all sides. The size of this piece created plenty of storage space providing two double cupboards with shelving and three drawers including cutlery space. The wide stepped foot with stretcher gives this piece a sturdy character.
This piece was in production during the 1960’s.

All our repairs are purposefully left visible although subtle in colour so buyers know what they are getting. We use traditional techniques and finishes to maintain as close to the Ercol finish as possible - these items are purposefully not restored to 'as new factory finish'. We leave undersides of flat surfaces in original finish and condition to allow buyers to see how they have lived.
